A wet day

Even if you appear successful in the eyes of outsiders, the inner trauma will still quietly strike back in the dead of night.

These emotions cannot be completely erased by time. We can only learn to coexist with them, allow ourselves to be vulnerable, and slowly understand.

There is nothing shameful about being vulnerable; it's just part of being alive.

Sometimes, we all have wet days.

It's not the weather that has changed, but the state of mind.

Although the sun is shining outside the window, my heart feels like it is being wetted by silent rain.

At these times, past traumas, like memories that quietly open a door, slip back into my mind, uninvited.

No matter how strong you appear in front of others or how many achievements you have made in society, some scars will still be touched inadvertently.

Especially in the dead of night, when the busy defense line during the day is withdrawn, that tense nerve will start to counterattack once it is touched.

A small thing, a melody, or even a familiar smell can cause your emotions to collapse in an instant.

We always think that "time can heal everything", but the truth is, some injuries just require learning to coexist with them.

Although it has healed and no longer bleeds, it still hurts a little.

What we call growth is often just learning to bear it with a smile, or letting the tears flow quietly in the bed, and then putting on armor and moving forward.

When days like this come your way, there's really no need to deny it, nor to force yourself to be strong.

Allow yourself to be vulnerable, allow yourself to stop, or even do nothing, just sit or lie down quietly, accompanying the wounded self.

Because we are not machines, and we are not people whose value lies only in our productivity.

Some traumas may never be fully healed in a lifetime, but that doesn’t mean we don’t deserve to be loved or to have happiness.

We just experience the act of being alive more truly and completely.

If you are being drenched by the rain of emotions today, it doesn’t matter, just let it fall.

The sun will rise again tomorrow, and you and I will learn bit by bit how to live in peace with the past.
