Hair dryer selection?

When choosing a hair dryer, pay attention to wind power, water retention and usage habits.

Panasonic has good water retention and is suitable for short hair, ghd has stable temperature control and good water retention and is suitable for long hair and professional blow-drying, Dyson has strong wind power but is prone to frizz, and I tend to prefer brand belief.

If you know how to use a round comb, the hair dryer will have little impact; the average person should choose carefully to avoid excessive blowing that will damage the hair.

After all these years, I am still often asked which hair dryer is the best?

I will mainly talk about the three well-known mainstream hair dryers on the market, Dyson, Panasonic, and ghd.

Panasonic
If you want super good hair quality, buy this one, it is very cost-effective. It automatically blows hair with # alternating between hot and cold air, helping you avoid overheating and damage to hair scales when you comb your hair with your hands.
Disadvantages: Long hair blown to death.

Dyson
The wind force is very strong. If you blow it carelessly, the hair may not have enough time to recover its elasticity before it dries, causing the hair to easily spin and tangle during the process, and the hair will become messy after a quick blow-dry.
Disadvantages: If you don’t know what # smooth flow blow-drying is, your hair will be frizzy and dry after blow-drying.

ghd
The temperature and wind speed are controlled just right, so that the hair is not exposed to too high a temperature, causing the hair scales to be excessively peeled off and damaged when the hair is blown by hand.
It is a combination of the other two and then optimized.
Disadvantages: # has no repair service, but if it is naturally damaged within the warranty period, it can be directly replaced with a new one from the original manufacturer.

Which one is more suitable for me?

For a professional hairstylist like me, the concentrated wind power of # is very important. Among these three models, only Dyson and GHD can do it, so I would not consider Panasonic at the beginning.

The second point is the # water retention, so Dyson is eliminated directly. Based on these two points, ghd has already won, so there should be no need to continue choosing in more details!

How would an average consumer choose?

The most commonly used method by general consumers should be the basic and simplest hand blow-drying method. The selection direction should focus on the average value of the blow-drying time and the moisture retention. If you have long hair, choose ghd, and if you have short hair, choose Panasonic.

As for Dyson, it started out as a motor manufacturer, and it really only sells the Noble # with strong wind power and cool appearance. If you only use it for hand drying, there is really no need to buy it.
Unless your hair is long enough and you want sexy and charming curls, the additional # product is of good value.

Moisture retention can also be called # elasticity, just like the facial collagen we lose year by year🙈, poor moisture retention means poor hair quality!
Excessive dyeing, perming and blow-drying will damage the hair scales and cause rapid loss of moisture retention.

Just like when we go to a general hair salon to wash our hair, it is common that after blow-drying the hair, it looks very straight, but feels a bit stiff to the touch. This is because excessive blow-drying has destroyed too much moisture retention.

Although it looks very smooth, the hair quality has really been damaged after years of being like this. One day, if I wash my hair myself, I will find that it feels sticky and no matter how I blow it, it is not smooth, so I have to go out and have someone else wash my hair.

If most people don’t know how to use a round comb to blow-dry their hair but want to have good hair quality, they really need to choose a hair dryer carefully.

If you know how to use a round comb to blow-dry your hair, you don’t really have to worry about whether your hair is of good quality!

Look at the celebrities on TV, and you will never see anyone with bad hair quality.

So all this is just a fake illusion!! 😎

The summary is that if you know how to use a comb to blow-dry your hair to make it smooth, you can use any hair dryer, the only difference is the moisture retention.

Anyway, just choose carefully according to your needs!

I am a professional hairdresser, so of course I recommend the products that I think are most suitable. I can only say that ghd is really powerful!

I am often told by customers that a ghd hair dryer is so expensive, and then they turn around and buy a more expensive Dyson.

When ghd was first launched in Taiwan, its price was only about half of Dyson’s, so I was often confused. 🚬

All I can say is that #’s brand advertising is great, and you can sell # without any worries.
