The long-awaited Yilan exclusive version of TPASS 2.0 will be released and sold on 2025/02/12. Each ticket is priced at NT$299. The ticket can be used immediately after purchase and can be used continuously for 72 hours. You can bring an e-ticket that is not bound to any Tpass plan, that is, EasyCard or All-in-One Card, to the National Highway Bus Ticket Office to bind it to the 3-day ticket plan. This plan covers: New Taipei City-Yilan commuter highway bus, Taiwan Railway (New Taipei City Fengming Temporary Station to Hualien Heping Station) and Yilan County city buses.

I found that many people work in Taipei and then live in Yilan. Not only is the rent much cheaper, but the air and water quality are also very good. To be honest, they are just exchanging time for money. But in fact, I lived in Fuzhong before and commuted to work in the East District. By MRT, it takes almost an hour.
