When people are working hard, they still need some comedy with a sense of happiness to boost their tired energy.
This movie tells the story of three young boys, a photographer who dreams of becoming a director but has no ambition and has been encountering all kinds of bad luck; and Lee Jun-ki, a super funny actor who is also half-unemployed and has been performing in messy dramas. ; Bong Dou-sik, a screenwriter who wrote a weird and bad Internet work "Bruce Lee is the President", often had to work part-time to make ends meet because he often had no income.
These three brothers in trouble opened a B&B called "Waikiki" to earn money, in order to realize their dream of working together to make their own movie.
The three female protagonists in the play are also very eye-catching. One is a silly single mother whose biggest dream is to be a rapper and manages the chores of a B&B. The other is Dong Gu's younger sister who grows a beard every day and dreams of becoming. Jiang Shuzhen, a reporter; the other is Min Xiuya, Dong Jiu's ex-girlfriend, a professional model who is not popular at all, and was defrauded by various scams and was heavily in debt.
The six characters have distinct personalities. On the road to dreams and love, although they have always stumbled and experienced various setbacks and failures, even though it is painful, they have also thought about giving up!
However, due to the firm friendship between the six people, they are still willing to cheer each other up, support each other, and become the strongest backers. They will support each other and continue on, so as not to lose the original direction on the right path.
The whole drama revolves around various ridiculous plots. At the beginning, it was more like the laughs of old-fashioned Korean dramas, but later on it made me laugh so hard. I can only say that this screenwriter is really ridiculous!
For example, the shaving scene would really make me laugh to death! There was also another drama "The Temptation of Wife" that was released at the same time. The plot was directly changed by the magic god here, just like Taiwan's FTV 8 o'clock show, which randomly changes the presentation of current affairs dramas! There are too many magical and hilarious plots, so I won’t reveal too much about them!
Among all the characters in it, I like the super funny actor Joon Ki the most, and the ridiculously cute single mother Yoona. In fact, they were a couple off-screen when filming started!
There is also one of my favorite supporting characters. Every time I see her, my heart will melt with that smile! Song'er!
Waikiki Season 1 is really a great drama and I highly recommend it to everyone!
