Sometimes it is ridiculous to see people who have no knowledge of current affairs but are keen to comment.
Their arguments are often superficial and absurd, but there are still a large number of people in the comment area who agree with them, which makes me feel that this society is really finished!
The essence of current affairs is never as simple as it seems on the surface.
It often involves multiple interests, complex backgrounds and deep connections.
If you don’t take the time to understand and analyze, but just accept one-sided statements, or even make a position based on them, you are likely to fall into misjudgment.
Whether it is domestic politics, international relations or social issues, behind these seemingly simple events are actually full of twists and turns. Interpreting them requires a certain amount of thought and patience.
The reason why society needs to think independently is because the information disseminated by media and social platforms is likely to be biased.
If we only listen to a single voice without trying to explore from multiple angles, we will only become victims of information manipulation in the long run.
When "what you hear is what you hear" becomes a common thinking, social discussions lose their depth and public policies can easily become populist tools.
If some people find it troublesome to discuss multiple perspectives, or find it too difficult to understand current affairs, then perhaps they are more suitable to watch entertainment programs like FTV’s 8 o’clock program. At least the plots there do not require brain use and will not affect real-life decision-making.
But if you want to truly participate in public discussions and promote social progress, you should put aside superficial views and spend more time studying and thinking. Only in this way can society move towards a more mature and rational future.
