emptiness of dependent origination

"The Rice Straw Sutra" says: "When you see dependent origination, you see the Dharma, and when you see the Dharma, you see the Buddha."

The Dharmakaya of the Buddha is the reality of all dharmas, that is, the "emptiness of the nature of dependent origination." If you can understand the emptiness of all dharmas from the dharma of dependent origination, you will know that all dharmas that exist due to dependent origination are illusory and unreal. Seeing the emptiness of all dharmas is the dharma body of the Buddha.

"The Diamond Sutra" says: "If you see all appearances but no appearance, you will see the Tathagata."

This is what Zen Buddhism calls "seeing one's nature and becoming a Buddha." Therefore, if one wants to become a Buddha, one must contemplate dependent origination.

Only by understanding the principle of dependent origination can we achieve Bodhi enlightenment and reach the realm of Buddha.

There is no inevitability in the occurrence of anything, but the accumulation and convergence of many conditions.

With emptiness, things are not necessarily good or bad. Except for the conditions of origin, if you trace back to the source, you will find that there is nothing there and there is everything!

To speak more plainly, it means: "When you are here, the world exists; when you are gone, the world disappears."

As you disappear, be frugal when you are alive and carefully collect various items, including the clothes you wore during your lifetime, the quilts you used to cover them, the used toiletries...etc.

Even if it is kept well for a while, it will eventually be thrown directly into the trash can.

Except for leaving a personal photo, a few more years will feel like I have never been in this world.

In fact, there is only you in this world, and the others are just moving around because of your existence.

So don’t think too much about who you want to leave something for.

After all, you disappear, and the world that existed for you disappears, so be kind to yourself!
